Choosing the right model
A simple way to decide which of Dayanica's many models to reach for.
Dayanica's model picker is organized into tabs by what you're making (Image, Video, Marketing, Audio), and within each tab, a Featured section highlights a handful of well-rounded options so you're never starting from a blank list of dozens of names.
Three things are worth weighing before you pick one:
Speed and cost. Faster, cheaper models (often labelled "Turbo", "Fast", or similar) are ideal for trying out an idea or iterating on a prompt — you can afford to generate several versions. Slower, pricier models are worth saving for the version you actually intend to keep or publish.
What it accepts. Not every model takes reference images, and far fewer offer dedicated start/end-frame slots (see the previous lesson on references) — if your idea depends on a specific input image, check that the model you're considering actually supports it before you start writing a prompt around it.
What it's good at. Some models are tuned for photorealism, others for illustration or stylized looks; some video models specialize in subtle, realistic motion, others in more dramatic camera work. The model picker's own description for each one is the fastest way to tell these apart.
Tip:Every model shows its estimated credit cost before you generate, right next to the Generate button — comparing two models for the same idea costs nothing until you actually press it.
